You don't really see "Female looking for..."

I've heard 2 numbers for the male to female Aspie ratio. One is 4 to 1, the other is 10 to 1.
Also I'm thinking that women seem less likely to initiate conversations then men.

I've read 3 to 1. That being said, there does seem to be a lot of female posters on AS message boards.

Anyway, by watching other people around me, it does seem like men start conversations with women more often than women start conversations with men.

I think there are more men on here that are willing to 'make the first move' by making a thread about themselves and who they want as a lover than woman are.

This is because we generally have to make the first move, it's like that amoung NTs too. But the problem we run into is emotional blindess, we can't read the cues so we don't know when to take things to the next step, I think most of us are kinda hoping the female will take over eventually and control the pace. As they should with an aspie male, because if we just take a blind stab at it we might end up offending the girl.

The 1:4 ratio is for those who have been formally diagnosed.

Sounds about right.

Add on that some of us women might not feel safe posting up 'searching for a guy' ad on the internet as much as guys would. Or don't feel as inclined to go looking in general.

Or that. Men, at least in a general look, tend to be more vocal/open about pursuing someone. Maybe it's just that genetic knowledge that men are built to pass on as fast as possible, being not totally required(well, not with rising technology, and the ability to produce offspring without a male).

Funny part is though would the guy care about you going to a (well, not with rising technology, and the ability to produce offspring without a male).

As that gives us the ability to not be bothered been tied down in a child thing, your not really stopping males as your taking they sperm..., plus the child is going to start asking about where he came from, who his farther is, and I would not lie to them as they will find out in the end and hold a very bad anger against you, even if you think its for the best the child wants to seek the farther out nearly all the time…

While the male puts his feet up you bring up the kid, sounds like paradise to most males lol

Think I might go down to one now and cash in, that way I can forget about been stressed about getting a girlfriend, too bad their don't know about me or they probably be lining up ;), knowing one day my sperm will impregnate someone and ill secure my family dna...

By nature, I don't think the kid would ask who their father is, unless social pressures brought it about.

Oh, and I wasn't referring to sperm donors-- I was referring to the actual technology to create offspring by only using eggs. It's been done with rats, though humans are waaaay more complex.

Quote:
Scientists have created mice pups from two female mice. No male mice or sperm were involved. The offspring were all female. How did this happen and will humans soon have the option to create babies without men?

Kaguya Has Two Mommies

While this is a scientific breakthrough, the process has not been perfected yet. It took 460 tries at growing embryos this way. And of the ten live mice born in the surviving mouse’s litter, she is the only one to survive to adulthood.

What does Parthenogenesis mean for lesbians?

Although lesbians are having children through artificial insemination, it is not yet possible for two women to produce offspring that comes from both of their genetic material. Is it possible this might become a reality in the future?

The procedure used by the Japanese scientists is currently unreliable, as it took 460 tries to conceive one mouse. It has not proven safe, or even possible for humans to reproduce through parthenogenesis. There is a possibility that, with further work and study, it could become an option available to women who seek the assistance of fertility clinics.

Most likely it will be banned from human use or males will go to war with females then you have the end of humans... as I would not stand around for it if they only fire out females...

Hey, it's at least a small success. I say if it becomes possible for humans, and enough people fight over it-- just split off to factions, like the ancients did.
