Do you think girls with short hair are attractive, unattractive, or is hair length irrelevant to whether or not you are attracted to someone? Assume that the hairstyle "works" for her face shape etc. Please explain your answer.

Depends on the girls facial features and the type of short haircut. But I do like it a lot when done well

I think that it depends on the girl, the look she's going for, and her age.

As unattractive as how women find facial hair unattractive today.

Yes, fairly short with the ends turned out is lovely. Too short is a turnoff.

Not usually a big fan of short hair... shoulder length is awesome!

Logically hair length shouldn't matter, so I would like to say based on this that I find there to be no difference. However, I'd do :( we humans aren't very logical even though we try to at least have a spark of rationality in what we think and do. In this case, for me, my rational brain runs quivering into the corner in submission.

So, long hair all the way for me. The longer the better. Anything above shoulder length begins to lose its appeal.

It can be done well and I've seen short hair that looks good,

For honesty's sake, I just have to say that for me it's not a dislike of short hair; it's more like I'm completely enamored with long hair and given the choice it's what I gravitate to. It just works so well with women's faces, I can't really describe the effect it produces. But it's beautiful and it melts me.

Kind of like, in the above picture , Emma Watson looks cute in short hair... how can she not? But with her long hair, it's almost like it frames her face in a whole other way that accentuates all her Emma-Watson-ness.

It strongly depends both on the haircut and the woman in question. I've seen some women who can pull it off really well, and others who look kind of scary with short hair lol.

It depends on how obsessed with gender stereotypes the man is

If he needs the woman to look sufficiently like a woman, as signified by a 'feminine' hair style, then he's going to always prefer
long hair

He'd probably have major problems if his partner ever had to have chemotherapty though as it would be too much of an imposition on his 'masculinity'

and as for a mastectomy - that would probably see him leave

it largely depends on the person. their clothing, hair/eyes, face structure, etc.

Most of the Star Trek shows have at least one female crew member with short hair.
