I constantly see people talking about how NTs are fake/stupid for various reasons on other Wrong Planet boards and everybody usually agrees.

It's funny how people here in L&D often act like that doesn't apply when talking about NTs in relationships.

Hey, my boyfriend was AS. And he agreed with his mother in some respects that I needed to be the one with all the social skills to make him look good

So most autistic woman I know DO take care of themselves, so they wahs themselves, wear clean cloth and so on. But sadly for many guys, as Apergerking nicely shows himself, caring means: "Do tons of nonsense stuff, that doesnt have anything to do with taking care of themselves or hygiene, but is related to increasing my female ape status on the social ladder, so that I become a precious status object, that is able to increase the male ape stauts on the social ladder of the man, who sees me as his property as well, like having as example a cool sporstcar that is getting everyone jealous.

And maybe because of us not being able to understand insticively social rules, like that we only exist to adore and agree men, as some men sadly seem to be thinking according to my experiences, and instead tell them directly our oppinions into their face. ^^

Or shortly: Because many men simply want a mix of sportscar and cheerleader, something they can show around and that tells them all the time how great they are, instead of a partner.

Most NT men except the female to keep up the relationship. They expect us to phone them regularly, to invite them on weekends, to cook the meals and so on. But Aspie women are not obtrusive enough. For example, an Aspie woman may be unsure about the right time of day to make a phone call, so she waits for him to call whenever he has time. Then he thinks she doesn't want to call because she's not really interested in him...

They have cooties, they may be able to hide them for a while but they always show up

Different but i dated a girl with bi-polar for over a year. It led to being a really un-happy relationship. Dont know if it was just us but i dont think that
aspergers and bi-polar's mix, imho.

I'd guess it's because a lot of men - Aspie and NT - are pretty rigid with their interests, and don't like to have to do anything else. Hence why most men complain about shopping with their girlfriends etc. This leads to them getting bored with the girl, especially if their girlfriend is Aspie and has some peculiar interests, and they move on.
But some men are more flexible and genuinely want to make their girlfriends happy and will do things because their girlfriend wants them to join in. These types of men, despite being nice guys and having qualities that most women claim to want in a man, are rarely even noticed by women.
In short, men tend to pick the wrong type of woman for them and get bored, women tend to pick the wrong type of man and end up feeling like s**t when they get dumped. People are crazy
