Is what it says on the tin.

For just a very short background bit... I've not ended on good terms with some of the people I've been with in the past, and nowadays I find them physically so disgusting that I can't imagine why I ever hit that. In one case this is partly because the guy gained a lot of weight (I'm all for fat-acceptance, but he really carries it badly) and ended up looking literally like a pig. But in other cases, they still look the same, but I find them gross. Does anyone relate?

And how serious you were in these relationships?

We were very serious. I have no interest in him physically and I am repulsed by him now emotionally more than anything else. I don't know if I'd ever speak with him again, to be honest.

Physically they're all about the same, but emotionally I can't imagine what I saw in some of them.

How do I explain???

WHy should I explain?

In defense of the truth: the TRUTH got in the way!! ! THE TRUTH destroyed every illusion. And the promise of LOVE screwed up everything. THE promise of love cleared away all of the BS. Somehow. THE promise of infinite LOVE broke down all of the walls.

How do YOU not know this. Eliza

I chose "depends on the person." It's the closest option to my situation. My actual choice is "Unattractive but not offensively so"; however, it would imply that my exes started look worse after the relationship ended. That's not the case; they kept the same attractiveness level out of the relationship that they had in the relationship. However, every girl I was in a relationship with never looked very good to begin with. (The girls I simply went on one date with were somewhat better-looking.) So she'd be equally (un)attractive after the break-up. There was no option in the poll "they kept the same attractiveness level," so I chose what I chose.

Time to hit the road in my case.

Extreme confusion about what exactly went wrong makes me sick. The people are still the same people and the attractive things about them before are still attractive now.

It depends on how it ended
