So, I've learned a lot about myself and how to be more successful at work and in friendships by reading books about AS (particularly memoirs). I've recently had some issues in my new marriage, primarily around communication, rigidity and being more spontaneous.
I read a book a while back called The Journal of Best Practices by David Finch and, although I found it interesting and informative, I had a hard time culling any advice for myself out of it.
Does anybody know of any good (and more directly instructional) book about navigating relationships/marriage? It doesn't necessarily need to be aimed at AS as I'm sure some basic pointers would be helpful as long as the book is written in a clear, direct way.

I can highly recommend "Men are from Mars, women are from Venus", or anything else written by John Gray. I have found his work very useful. Good luck.

Hm, I really dislike John Gray, but different reads for different needs

Years ago I read something called "Now that I'm Married, Why Isn't Everything Perfect?"-- don't remember the author-- but remember finding it helpful.
