is that it is an intermittent-positive-reinforcement. (ie-you know it could be good, but also that you're not garanteed it will be; no pattern to the outcome either...you just gotta try for it)

^^^ is the most addicting combination of reinfornment...

that's why things like gambling are so addictive.

Love increases serotonin, norephidrine and dopamine in the brain.

One of the best natural drugs. Unfortunately you can't control it.
