So I made my first dating profile about a week ago, and I am looking for some feedback. Here is the link http://www.okcupid.com/profile/Konsolo

I mainly looking for room for improvement, so message me with what you think I should add or subtract from my profile.

Good job for having the balls to put up your profile. Most people are too scared to even share a picture of themselves here.

I would erase everything from your profile.

I'm going to get something to eat and then I'll tell you what I would write.

I can't see anything wrong with it really, your honest about who you are as a person etc. Many people actually don't put out as much as you did, and end up keeping it to short, so in my opinion i think you did a good job.

Hope it will turn out well for you :)

You're off to a good start:
I'd delete
"I'm not going to lie I have never had a girlfriend before, but I am not desperate for one."
"I have a very dark past full of a lot of abuse from peers and family."
Although it's honest, a girl is going look at that and think "baggage" before she even gets to know you. I'd also try and come up with a few jokes to replace some of the generic answers in "you should message me if" and "I spend a lot of time thinking about."

This, and replace the pic with one with a better background - anywhere other than a public lavvy would be better.

I think you should change the bit about past abuse as that's the kind of thing most people would share when they know someone a bit rather than to anyone viewing their page. Other than that I think it's fine and will appeal to people with similar interests to you.

Going to echo what the last 3 posters said. Remove those 2 parts, add a pic that isn't in a restroom and it's plain sailing from there :) (hopefully)

I think the weed bit is actually going to do you a favor. It'll weed out (sorry) the girls that don't like it, and probably get girls that like to smoke to message you.

My self summary:

I'm what most people consider a wallflower if I'm at a party.

However, I do enjoy socializing with friends & smaller groups of people.

I have passions & goals in life; I'm an aspiring comic book writer. I also enjoy reading, hiking, & video games. Some of my favorite video games are Bioshock: Infinite, and The Last of Us.

I'm 420 friendly ;)

I'm looking for a woman that I can share time with and call not only my girlfriend but my best friend as well.

I'm really good at : don't change

The first things people usually notice about me: it's ok I guess

Favorite books movies etc. : ok

The six things I could never do without: remove weed from the list

I spend a lot of time thinking about: it's ok. I'm trying not too drastically change everything too much.

On a typical Friday night I am : remove getting stoned

The most private thing I'm willing to admit
: remove what you wrote. I would write. "That's for me only!"

You should message me if: You like what you read. You feel there is some common ground or possibility that we could connect. You enjoy video games or are 420 friendly.

With the information you gave there isn't much to really say. You are going to do best attracting a nerd type I think. That's my .02.

Tanks for the help I'm going to add a lot of what you put. And thanks to everyone else for the advice.

It's the handicapped stall at the bathroom in the library, it has it's own sink and it's own mirror. I had never noticed ether before, and I thought it would've looked cool. Is my picture really that bad that I need to change it?

You look ok I think it's just the location. Then again most of us are older than you and are looking at it with older eyes.
For people in the 18-22 bracket your pic should be ok.

You look fine, but the background is really bad. Can you get someone else to take a picture of you? Or a selfie which isn't taken in a toilet would be better.

If you don't have a single outdoor pic then forget about okc and dating for now, you'd habe bigger issues to solve first.
