I am totally so lonely.
Live in Sydney Australia.
Not sure I even want sex.
Really just to be held and nurtured.
Have been weeeeird since I was three.
Was called "The Little Policeman" already @ that age.
In Jon Elder Robison's 2nd book his new wife knows when to just "gentle" him.
Like be close and there for him.
Even tho I have fathered kids & then their mothers turn against me.
I have never had this ever in my life.
And I am getting older and older.
Lonelier & lonelier.
It is no good.
Depressing.
A Failure.
Fraud.
Sad.

Usually to get nurturing you have to also be nurturing. In ways the other person actually wants.

short of being able to read the other person's mind, that is usually akin to fumbling in the dark.

It does help if the person's able & willing to communicate in words. But it also takes being able to work with that, and accept that the other person's notion of nurturance is valid and sensible for that person, rather than trying to impose what one would want for oneself. A good place to start is in not arguing with what's asked for. Then there's trying to understand, and trying things out, and asking: "Like this?" NTs have to do this, too, y'know.

It's pretty safe to assume that most WP users are lonely some way.

Not really. Crowded cities are some of the most lonely places in the world.
