I have hfa and I am also very shy, so I go to events like karaoke and bowling, trivia etc., activity based events. It never seems like there are women even remotely close to me in age, and if they are they have their boyfriend or their husband with them. I am average looking and a little chunky, and terribly shy when I received compliments or signs of attraction from women, even when it was in highschool, when the girls were just as inexperienced as I was. I thought of joining a church because the women there may be as inexperienced and awkward as I am, but I don't believe in god.

I went on one date and it was a horrible experience. She was very forward in her advances. I said we were going for ice cream, she made me hold her hand and ended up taking me over to another place to make out. This was very uncomfortable for me (this was only the second time I had seen her, even though I talked a lot with her on the phone). We never did end up getting ice cream. She dumped me two days later. I guess I was naive when I didn't realize ice cream was a code word for make-out time.

Maybe I need to find a women who is very literal minded like myself, or has aspergers, because I am getting lonely. Women are a hard enough thing for normal guys to deal with.

II can empathize with your school experience. When I was in middle school girls would sometimes ask me out but I was too shy to except. I didn't start dating until I was 25.

It's good that you get out of the house and you've been on one more date than some WP posters. There may be hope for you yet if your shy because even some NT women are not so forward on the first date.

You could try for an aspic woman but in my experience they pair up young and stay with the same man.

I don't think it is really a code word. I mean it's a commitment to spending some time together but I don't think you could have really known in advance that is where things would go.
