Women - do you want children? What would influence you if you're undecided?

Men - Same question.

I'd love children one day.

I'd prefer a daughter, I like the names "Charlotte", and "Hannah"

I come from a family of mainly men, and I think it's time for a change.

If I was in the right circumstances, I'd quite happily father a child now.

I want at least one kid. I'll cross the more kids bridge when I come to it.

I'm dying to have kids! I love babies and little children, always have. Child development and child care have been two of my obsessions since I was a child myself and I know I'd be an awesome mommy if I ever had the chance.
Unfortunately it often feels unlikely to ever happen. I can't get a date to save my life, much less married. I know I can't do it alone, not financially. I'm a mommy at heart, not a money maker. I don't have it in me to deal with business and money. I'd need a husband but that never seems likely to happen. And at 31 I feel like I am running out of time.

Nein! I am more of a truth-seeker and solitary than a family man (to put it mildly), and I can't help but feel going down this route would be a mistake for all involved. Although fortunately the question has and is likely to remain academic.

Yes, when I get older and more mature. I would like to have that experience.
