Someone like myself. I'm the one who understands me the best. So, I'd want someone like myself to understand me :)

I'd want someone that was thoughtful, patient, responsible, and someone that could make me laugh.

hmm..I'm not sure it would be any different to what I look for in a male (for a relationship)

however, If I were male, I would probably be a complete slut and just want to seduce as many women as possible.

For Miss Right Now - being a ho.

For Miss Right - not being a ho and has homemaking skills.

God, I'd be such a chauvinist probably. As a girl, I would not date myself as a guy.

Great, even if I was a dude, I'd still be alone. Bummer.

If I was a man, I would like a woman who is understanding, patient, trustworthy, honest, loves animals, and always puts a smile on my face. :D

unhealthy lifestyle (j/k, thought I'd balance out all the people who put being a health-nut down as a deal-breaker)

Seriously: straightforwardness, joie de vivre, sensuality, ability to think for oneself, positive attitude to life (getting depressed is understandable, I mean something more philosophical, like I couldn't be with a misanthrope,) tolerant of me, not snobbish, not timid (I don't ask for brave or confident, I can manage that myself, just no doormats or extreme people-pleasers,) sense of proportion (being a drama queen is tolerable sometimes, but it gets tiring) and a basic level of independence.

These are things I already look for in a person of any gender.

Though if I was a male, I'd probably still end up mostly sleeping with men.

someone very cute, of course, and logical, independent, reliable, straight-forward, quiet, not moody, not a procrastinator, with a dry sense of humor and common sense. Also with similar tastes in music as mine.

I think I would be gay if I was a man.
Gay men seem to have more fun than heterosexual women. That's for sure.

Why do you think this is? Do you think women are criticized too harshly if they try to date men the way gay men do?
