Why is this often the case?

I am not saying this is always the case but why is quite often people who we 'don't like' or are not attracted to seem to like us?

Has everyone you have been interested in been interested in you? If not, then you have no more luck than the people you are curious about with this thread.

I wish I knew.... It would make things simpler, that's for sure.

I find that with people that want to be friends with me too. They tend to be over-bearing annoying people and seem to think they can back me into a corner and make me friends with them because I'm quiet.

Maybe it's just that some people are over-confident and don't care if other people don't really like them. Maybe they imagine that if they keep trying we'll give in. I don't know.

I guess it's like advertising for a job. You get way more applicants the don't suit the job than you do applicants with the right skills for the job.

We always want what we can't have.

There are women that like me, whom I don't like back. And vice versa the women I do like I'm pretty certain don't like me back.
