I am going to be in a wedding party, and wondered if anyone else had the experience and was single at the time. I am presuming the chances of me meeting a woman (I'm hetero) are random (the last wedding I attended I might have been the only single guy there, they didn't even throw a bouquet or a garter). Has anyone met their SO/LTR at a wedding?

It's a crap shoot. I've been to weddings where they had a good balance of single men and women, and I've been to weddings where there was 1 single girl for 10 single guys.

Good news is that it seems customary for women to accept offers to dance at weddings.

There will be gals there you can socialize with. However do not expect to start a relationship with anyone there. Weddings are not good places to meet people irregardless of what movies portray.
