Quote:
Valentine’s date scenario : She’s made dinner plans, you’re exchanging gifts, and her gift to you is something thoughtful, way too expensive, and definitely brag worthy. Your gift to her? As the panic quickly takes over your body you could A) hand her a gift she never expected and get many thanks for it later that night, B) make an excuse about it being at your house because you left in such a rush to get out the door, or C) Start explaining your lame self while mentally acknowledging that you will not in fact be getting any action tonight. If you have found yourself often choosing B or C, then you need to read below NOW! Here is a long awaited list of gifts you will have fun purchasing! So let’s change your answer to an A, okay boys?

Last year, Valentines day fell on the SA duck opening weekend (or on the days I would be travelling). I told my wife that for valentines day "I would make her heart grow fonder"

she didn't appreciate it.

I sent Connie my Facebook present. I'd like to do more for her but I don't know what would be appropriate considering we are "Just Friends".

Hey!
What do you give to a girl that you are chasing and have been on a few 'dates' (sort of) with and that you can tell from bodylanguage that she likes you but you havent yet mustered the confidence to tell her you like her? Let alone kissed her or anything.
Please, need quick reply, it's valentines tomorrow!

Stuffed kitten...lol, yeah a plushie is always cute

If she likes chocolate...that'll go down well. Boring, but eh. :P I certainly wouldn't say no!

A card is the simplest of things to give, and can say the most.

Guys, if you're looking at making a statement - a statement of your affection for that special someone - why the heck is no one mentioning a single red rose?! It's sickeningly cliche because it's the ultimate valentines way (the ultimate way any day) of saying 'I love you' or at least 'I really freakin' like you' :) I hate flowers normally, but a red rose would bring tears to my eyes and melt my heart. (And it's not quantity over quality, you don't really need to get twelve. 1, 6 and 12 are the magic numbers but those experimenting or on a tight budget really only need one :))

Though seriously...an iPod...THAT certainly wouldn't go amiss! Interesting suggestion that.

As long as those words will melt her heart :)

Sometimes it's worth going that extra mile, even if it's saying something that really touches her. It's not about celebrating yet another hallmark-fabricated holiday (which is what Valentines day is), it's about taking a blatant opportunity to show (or remind) her that you're the only one she needs :D

Because let's face it...guys, if you get comfortable in a relationship, either it really is a good thing you got goin' on there or you should start to get scared :? Because girls don't hang around long if you're apathetic.

I was thinking of that but I thought it might not be a good idea.

I would like any of them but the iPod, but my guy would never get me one anyhow ;)

The star projector thing is way cool!
