I'm a little anoyed that almost all of aspie affection's features are broken just because the site could be really great. I've started this petition to try and get a consensus that the site needs to be fixed as it's basically unusable. Please sign your name by voting in the poll, thank you.

Edited:
I actually added four options to the poll but it destroyed the last one...

I don't know what this is and couldn't care less, but at a quick glance I saw this:

Total Male Members: 2933
Total Female Members: 1034

With numbers like that it seems pretty unlikely that any feature repair is going to improve your odds.

I think location, and suitability of potential partner are more important aspects than the statistical pairing of the members. There are pleanty of girls on there who are naturally still single.

I wanna see original code, not a crappy free CMS which doesn't work properly. You might then have a decent site on your hands, and one that'll make more money as a result, Alex.

That doesn't make any difference. The odds of the guys in my area being interested in the only aspie girls in my area are small. I've seen girls on there who are completely wrong for me, so I won't go for them. Blind statistics are not an issue, and if there is competition then bring them on! 8)

you don't seem to understand, if there is not enough women, then the site can't do any better
example-last time I went there, the closest girl to me was in toronto
thats a 7 hour drive
no matter how good a dating site is, if it doesn't have a lot of women, its not good
no amount of programming can fix that

Actually, it can.

Nobody is going to join a sh***y site. The more the website is improved the more people will join. Naturally, there will be more males than females. Stop bitching about it.

Aspie Affection has been broken for me sense I tried to sign up in the begging of the summer. I could never search for profiles & now I cant even log in or register a new account. I think Aspie Affection should be taken down & start fresh with a new site. I bet most of the members quit using it a while ago & probably would have to create new accounts if & when the site gets fixed anyways

Aspie Affection is first broken by demographics. There aren't all that many aspies to begin with. A small fraction of aspies active online in the aspie communities have registered on Aspie Affection, and like any other dating site, the men outnumber the women. I registered years ago out of curiosity and was not impressed. I don't think Alex Plank would want to throw any more time into it.

then he should take it down instead of having a site that keeps showing weird code pages whenever someone tries to do anything there

Given that AS is about 3 times as prevalent in men as in women, does it make any sense whatsoever to even have a dating site? Isn't this rather a recipe for failure as the women will be overwhelmed and the men frustrated.

I would continue using it but it's all the time broken, I just forget about the whole thing really.

I thought AS was 4 times more common in men. It's great for women who are looking to meet men & maybe guys who are looking to meet other guys. I use an asexual dating site that has more women than men & I get few messages even thou I'm very active so I don't think that the women would be getting overwhelmed on Aspie Affection. I would love a site with 4x as many women than men because maybe then I would have some interest

i think the number of people signed up to the site would greatly increasing if it worked properly.
