When you are a sponge, you just release your sperm/eggs into the surrounding seawater and you are guaranteed to have offspring ... or you can reproduce asexually when you are split in half.

Human reproduction is too complicated. I was born in the wrong species.

I envy sea sponges too, I’ve always wanted to live in a pineapple...

I sense they live a pretty dull life, otherwise.

I like my "method of reproduction."

They don't usually go too far from where they live....I'd feel stifled.

I never thought about it before. I do not want offspring & having sex isn't that important for me so now that I thought about it alittle, I do not envy sea sponges.

I think sponges are probably content being sponges. But I've often wondered what the most content species actually is.

Or howbout plants?

Flowering plants just put out their blooms, and the bees do all of the work of pollination for them.

Pine trees are more primitive, and don't flower, so they put out pollen into the air. So ( I am guessing, and hugely anthropormorphizing) that pine trees spend all of the spring in one long state of orgasm.
