So I've been with my GF now for two years and she's been doing this thing thats really annoying me. When I am at work, or she is away seeing family, or basically whenever we are not together she will text me and tell me how horny she is for me.
However when we are together and have the time she's too tired the majority of the time; even when said hornyness texts occur in the same day. I've had other GF's do this to me as well. I understand that women are different from men and that their arrousal can be nixed at the slightest thing, but come on. I haven't said anything to her because I don't want to hurt her feelings. All it does is turn me off and make me feel a little resentful. I know it's not of purpose, but come on. Why are you horny for me only at the times when theres no time for us to be together, then when we are together all you want to do is cuddle and fall asleep?
Any insight on this would be nice.

Have you asked her about it?

There could be any number of reasons, but knowing neither you nor your girlfriend nor your exes, there's little information to go on. How often does this happen? How do you respond? Is there ever a 'horny' text, then sex later? Does sex only ever happen without a 'horny' text? Do you feel a problem with your sex life in general - it seems so.

What does your girlfriend do during the day? Is she on medication? Not forgetting, feeling horny but not being able to sate it is frustrating, and such frustration itself is an aphrodisiac. When you're together, sex is possible, so there's no frustration.

So yeah, talk to her about it. It's obviously bothering you. It seems you see a 'horny' text as something like a mix of foreplay and a promise of sex - ask her if that's how she intends it at the time. It also seems there is a wider concern than the text matter.

She's probably horny at that moment when she's alone, and you're in the office--distance does make the heart grow fonder, unfortunately.

I could sense your frustration, viscerally.

She could possibly be a tease, as well.

Do you know what arouses her? Maybe a lick around a certain spot? Ladies like to be attended to in that sense.
