relationships are complicated

I think, even if I could get a relationship <which I doubt I could> I would ruin it, I think my various oddities would strain anything that I could manage and I'm wondering who else feels something akin.

Were you in one before?

I'm gonna say, don't knock it till you tried it.

I've been in a relationship years ago still, despite my eccentricities it did last for an ample amount of time, that being 4yrs so, I would never make yourself feel like your incapable of having a relationship for, I've felt the same way and still do this very day but, I do realise it's not easy by any standard NT or Aspie perspective.

That has also been my experience and I have tried it.

Relationships are complicated, but then it also depends on how you view things. Friendships are complicated too, as is, for some people, going to work and coexisting with others there. Anything involving people is always complicated. The more intimate the relationship is, the more complicated it can become. When two people really want to be with each other, complications are merely small hurdles and anything 'quirky' (or oddities as I have seen it described) are things to be endeared as opposed to loathed. AS and relationships don't always mix as we have to try a bit harder than everyone else, but if you want it it's worth it.
