Hello i'm new here but in the hopes of sparking a discussion on the topic of Attraction i ask you this: what do you find most attractive in a potential companion?

I am a heterosexual male aspergian and i find (cuteness) to be the most attractive quality in a potential companion but cuteness goes deeper than appearance because people are much more than physical beings there are many things that can be considered cute. Different people can perceive it in different ways. For me personally i find a female that is at least a foot shorter than me is very appealing with a fair complexion, long hair, and a fiery but gentle personality if there are any females that fit that description here don't hesitate to message me.

Are you sure you're not just using the discussion at attraction angle to solicit messages from cute, "fiery but gentle," foot shorter than you females with a fair complexions and long hair? 8)

Personality, intelligence, and sense of humor weigh much more heavily than physicality to me attraction-wise. As a sturdy gal. I usually don't go for the willows types...

that is a good point i would like to ask you this then do you prefer an overly humerus person or a more serious type that at first glance seems stiff but will catch off guard at just the right moment to get you rolling with a good one?

First is good, but second example wins. The element of surprise is always a bonus, like a hidden treasure.

agreeableness is probably the most important trait in a marriage partner. it seems every other good quality stems from agreeableness.

I totally agree  quality and timing will always beat quantity and repetition when it comes to humor

Many things for that mater

I am all about that tsundere. And strangeness. Or in other words, I'm totally into that girl who wore a dinosaur hat to school every day when she was younger. Hopefully she still does, because dinosaur hats are awesome.

What I find most attractive about my girlfriend is that she understands & accepts me & is supportive or at least tries with all 3.

This may be kind of strange, but the one thing that can REALLY get me off (yes, in a sexual way) for people I'd ordinarily have NO attraction to is being super good at a musical instrument (I'm a musician too). All people in my age range who's not related to me is fair game if they're that good, even if they're not visually attractive at first or they have something gross about them like smoking.

As far as "dating" kind of attraction goes...I really have no idea. I get crushes on the most random people...once I had this really intense crush on someone I couldn't stand for like two weeks. But crushes aren't really something I act on at all. As for the "not just a crush" stuff, I have to have things I really like about the person, even in a rational way, to get the crush...but it's different with each person. I don't actually know of any patterns there.

I can't stand when short women steal all the tall guys. I am really jealous of short women.

And yeah, if I want to be pedantic, I would ideally like a 6 foot 5, muscular, tanned guy with a good job, people skills and a nice face and a kind personality, but you can't have everything.
