Videos/audio of actual dates and conversations

Here are a few videos I found helpful. The guy is pretty douchey and their conversation is incredibly dull, but I think there is still a lot to be learned from how he handles the interaction. I liked trying to think of what I would say if it was me there. I think what you can see of his body language is awkward and bad, though.

This clip is in Russian but I found it pretty interesting to watch just for gesturing, eye contact, posture, etc. No idea what he's saying but I like this guy a lot:

This video only shows highlights of dates and is a bit fake as the people know they're being recorded, but it's still cool. "Experts" analyze the interactions so you can watch it, listen to what the people say, and then go back again and try to pick up on what they're talking about.

That nasal voice in the first video.... the man is utterly intolerable. "Everytime I see a jew I feel a little twinge of anger and I dont know if that's in the bloodline" apparently she wants to see him again???! !

Sorry for hijacking your thread though op. The guy in the first video... don't take a cue from him. I imagine that trying those sorts of lines on anyone else would end the date early. He just seems obnoxious. Hey some girls go for that though.

As for date examples have you watched a UK show called Blind date hosted by Cilla Black?

I don't really see any value in the specific things he says, but I found it interesting to observe the flow of the conversation. I noticed that by comparison, I tend to ask questions that don't leave the other person enough room to talk, and I'm too eager to jump in with things to say sometimes because I'm so afraid of lulls in conversation.

Blind Date as hosted by Cilla Black seems to be more of a game show and not really what I want to see. There was a US TV series with the same name that is a little bit better as the camera follows people around on a date, but it still basically just shows highlights.
