She said she wanted to date me, but hasn't acted like it
To make a long story short, I was at a church camp last month when I noticed a girl who was wearing a shirt of the school I'm gonna be going to this year(and I went to my 7th and 8th grade year, so I won't be too new to my peers). I went to start a conversation with her and from then on I gave her my phone number(she asked for it)and we started talking everyday for the next few weeks. In the process, she was showing obvious signs that she wanted to date me(including smiling and sending heart emojis in all the selfies she would send to me on snapchat, among other things), and I wanted to date her. This past Wednesday, we went to the bowling alley with our youth group(which I recently joined since I had just moved nearby there a few weeks ago), and I made the big move by asking her if she wanted to date me and she said yes. Ever since then, she has hardly talked to me, and when we do talk she hasn't sent those emojis and stuff like she used to(this actually was the case starting about 5-ish days before I asked her out). She is at band camp every weekday and she says she is very tired after it. But idk if that's a good enough reason for it because she can put things on her snapchat story but she can't text the guy she's supposedly dating. She'll get done with band camp at a certain time, and you'd think her first priority is to text the guy she's dating no matter how tired she is, but apparently it's not. Even this weekend when she didn't have camp she wouldn't talk to me. Why would someone do this? Say yes when you get asked if you want to date this guy, and not make talking to him a priority?
Thanks for any answers.
P.S. I'm gonna be in 11th grade and she's gonna be in 10th, just so you all know.
