Sometimes I like women with real natural blonde hair. Is it wrong that I actually care about hair color? Blonde hair can be really desirable. Also the natural blondes over 15 ate trending towards don't out and is quite rare already. People tell me to find a Scandinavian woman but I'm not sure how long that would even last for (talking about natural blondes here) any advice?

I feel the same way sometimes. Bonus if they're hippies. There's nothing quite like a natural blonde hippie.

Nothing wrong with it. Everyone got their own preferences. For example I fancy red hair, don't mind brown or black hair but I don't like blonds. I could date a blond girl or guy (actually I did) if they had a great personality but I wouldn't fall for their looks. They look just sort of plain to me. Perhaps thats because about half of people in my area is blond.

it's a preference, nothing wrong there.
as long as you don't reject other women with different colors of hair, noone will even really know.
even if you do, it's a preference, not too different (less bad/better, if anything) then minimum/maximum weight, and on-par with a preferred height

I have a thing for long, black, straight hair personally but I would not reject someone for being blonde for example. In fact, as strange as it sounds blonde (natural blonde that is) is my second favourite colour!

Everybody has preferences. My husband likes brunettes. My best guy friend, before he got married, would only date women with big butts and big boobs (actually, he would only date women that were obese and fine with it-- his exact words were, "I want vaaaaaast tracts of laaaaand!") The first guy I dated demanded "love handles" (why he was banging my anorexic frame, I'll be damned if I know). The guy after that only went after skinny chicks who resembled Alanis Morissette.

Yeah, I think having a preference for natural blondes is pretty much completely OK. It limits your dating pool pretty severely, but hey.

I'm a dark haired guy.

The problem is that i fear they will be all gone within my lifetime.

It has gotten to the point where i envy guys with natural blondes (especially dark-haired guys)

You're not really having a moral dilemma about what other people think about a single attraction preference, are you?
The list of attraction preferences is hugely long. This is one thing.
Of the billion of things to occupy worry, concern, & mental run-time this bothers you?

Anybody that spends a microsecond concerned with one of your attraction needs more than a life, they need serious therapy.

You are a big boy, what you like is right, regardless of anything. It's yours - everyone else can take a flying leap, they don't deserve an answer and you're too important to worry about this. Own it and move on.

Besides...

That sorta implies you're not alone in the preference there. =)

The previous generation of dark haired guys (like you) are ruining it for you by procreating with blonds. How dare they.

1401b that was millions of years ago.

I wish some miracle will save blonde hair and blue eyes. My generation is screwed in many ways.

I think everyone has prefernces with hair color. I find myself more attracted to red hair or, pink/blue/purple/rainbow. I though also tend to be attracted to short hair, seems its mostly emo/goth girls that do short dyed hair. so anyways. I am also still attracted to all the other hair colors. really depends on the personality and face for me. though hair can be an attention getter.

blonde hair and blue eyes sounds too nazi like ......

now red hair and blue eyes are cool. oh no whats more attractive the people who's eyes change color shades in lights, like goes from green to brow, or blue to green. so unique

Yeah everyone makes fun of me and calls me a nazi. :(

I just want another chance to see a blonde hair/blue eyed girl. They say they aren't going extinct, but people also believed the Earth was flat. That doesn't make it true or not.

Well your not alone in that concern. There was another guy here who posted about it a few times like a year or so ago.

And you can't really help what you naturally find attractive. Its not like its a conscious choice.

The extinction theory is based on darker color hair genes being dominant when a blonde person and a dark hair person have a baby. But its not always the case. Plenty of parents (both with dark hair) have blonde haired kids. And there are still many millions of blonde couples. So its not even close to being true today and only a theory and with an unknown timeframe.

Blonde hair, as the current most accepted theory goes, developed due to its advantage in producing the needed body chemicals/vitamins in low light environments. Modern society and medicine puts this on the back burner but if human kind ever knocks itself back into the stone age, blonde hair might see a natural resurgence in some areas.

It is also possible science might give parents choice in certain characteristics in babies. They already know which gene groups are associated with blonde hair. I don't think GM people is really science fiction any more. Just a matter of time.

But I suggest as a balance you give dark haired women a second look. There are many amazingly beautiful brunettes. I find dark haired beauty is the equal to the light haired version, just different. There are looks a brunette can have that a blonde can not and vice versa. If you are familiar with the Lord of the Rings, you might know Gimli the Dwarve and Eomer of Rohan had a running dispute over which was better and even made a vow to fight over it. But eventually Gimli who had started the argument came to recognize that the dark haired Arwen was just as beautiful as the light haired Galadriel. He said one was the day and the other, night.

They are not going extinct: think about it, there are probably more blond people than at any other time in history, simply because the population of countries with blond people has never been this large. And people with dark hair can have children with lighter hair.
