I thought that was pretty good. Also touches on the argument nowadays of tradition versus equality and how it creates confusion.

In Turkish Romcoms and soap opera mostly, the girl is always a dumb damsel in distress, and the guy is know-it-all, the wisest and coolest person ever existed in her life: He is her lover, her saver in every bad situation, her mentor, her wise guide, her funder in financial crisis and everything.

And the guy always is the one who teaches her news things (And even in western soap opera), he teaches her how to skate, how to ride a horse, how to....etc, he also always teaches her how to be strong and have a personality like wtf?? It's so nauseating. They never show you the girl teaching him stuff or even saving his life or him being influenced by her in any instance.

And you know what's funny? Most women love this genre.
