Why should men who live in America who prefer skinny girls be shafted for being "mad" about obese women? Why is it fair that these men where migration isn't practical should have to choose between settling with obesity or staying single for life because the obese population, especially women, are tipping the scales? Do you think obese women are going to take over America? I'm flexible about weight in a partner, but I would never long for the day when all skinny or even average women disappear from the world, or at least in America.

I use to believe that the government should stay out of our food cabinets, but now I'm losing faith.

If you look on the streets of NYC, you don't find much obesity. You might find some overweight ladies; but the vast majority seem to be of normal weight.

Is this another "I can't get a date, and it's all the women's fault" type of thread?

If so, I'm outta here!

Why should you be mad at obese women, unless they stole your cake and ate it.
I know/known many men that strongly prefer bigger women, would you deny them satisfaction in mating?

It's currently "low tide" for women, buddy. If you're single right now expect lots of subtle rejection from women that currently have a relationship.
It isn't personal, they're just not available.

"High tide" wont be here again until about a week or two before spring break.
Except for some spasming about a week before Valentine's day.

I've seen plenty of obese men.

It's not just a "women's issue."

True. January and February together are the dry season of dating.

There are a lot of obese men and women in America.
It is becoming hard for skinny people to buy clothes here.

where do you shop?

I look around my area and see lots of big people bigger then me, and lots of skinny people but stores only stock thin people's sizes. I'm not even that large yet can't find 2xl stuff, but tons of small or medium stuff. I have no idea how 5xl and bigger people find clothes.

I don't take personal issue with anyone else's appearances unless they're attractive to me mentally & aesthetically, in which case it's a positive impression anyway. The real problem with obesity in the west is irrespective of gender; processed foods are well known to put a dent in one's mental capacity, I've seen it happen although thankfully not very much where I live. My other concern about this is the absurd concentration of food around money. Not only is the less healthy stuff cheaper, raising all kinds of obvious problems but this country hoards so much chemical energy per capita that it's having a marked impact on entire subcontinents, even the global hydrological cycle.

Are obese women eating the skinny women or something? That would be just about the only situation in which your argument holds water.

And what I find most peculiar about these threads is that women are referred to in the collective like they are some kind of cattle and the prospective property of the thread starter. What business is it or yours if a female chooses to be large? It's not as if you have any claim on them. Realise that these women you are referring to as if they are inanimate objects are in fact people with a right to choose. Yes even their right to choose how large they want their arse to be. You don't have any claim on it. I have no idea why you think you do. Women don't exist to please you, that has never been their function. Any more than you exist to please others.

Even in the unlikely event that all females on the planet got together and collectively chose to become size 22, you still have no right of say in their size. You would not have to date any of them, but it's not as if the world owes you a size 2/4/6....whatever female.

You don't.

The fact that you even think that the existence of fat women is something to be mad about just shows how damn good you have things.

From observation I would think there are as many obese men as women. There may even be more overweight men.

Its a countrywide/culture problem. An epidemic of sorts even.

But there are still many slim women. Any visit to places with lots of public shows me that. If I was young and single I would have no problem finding attractive girls I would like to meet. There's thousands of them.

Are you perhaps re-directing the cause of a problem here?

This.

If you're judging someone only by their weight / appearance and not their personality, you're pretty damn shallow.

Not to sound rude, but if that is the case for you wanting a relationship (solely based on appearance), then it's not surprising you don't have one.

Exactly, very shallow indeed. I never judge people by their appearance. Besides, slim women simply cannot be trusted.
