I don't understand physical attraction.

I really do not understand it. I'm far more interested in what a person says and how they think. I can tell if someone would be seen as attractive by most people, but it really does not interest me if they are.

What do all of you think?

So you're telling me you cant see the difference between these two women?

I can see the difference based on what I've been socialised to believe.
But I would interact the same with either one of them and judge them more on their character not their looks.

we produce sexually.. therefore sexual attraction.
if u don't have that in your brain then it's wired differently than even most of us here.

Let me correct myself then. I understand it but don't really feel it, I've dated quite a few people of various body types and looks. But I'm more logical I guess. I prefer their mind, personality and people of that ilk.

I am very aware that's a cliché but I much prefer a friendly person who I can talk to than someone who's "pretty" or "beautiful" who has no personality, is a stereotype or is a pseudo-intellectual etc. Not that I'm the kind of person who would treat anyone badly, but I couldn't date someone just for their looks, I never understood people that did that.

I'm not into physical attraction either but some of that could be due to me being on the asexul spectrum, having a rare low vision disorder, & a brain processing disorder with things I do see visually. I'm not a visual person thou I do notice appearances but I care way more about the person inside than their looks.
