Is never having kissed at 19 rare even for someone with AS?

I heard Einstein had his first girlfriend in college and John Robison had his first girlfriend in middle school. I try to approach people in activities but they either make fun of me or aren't interested in me. I used to be into math and reading but I just suddenly lost interest in it at 13 years of age and never could maintain a constructive interest ever since. I also might be too pudgy and have some mild Tourette's. I don't know what to do at this point. I once overheard a girl say that my voice was extremely monotonous, and I listened to a recording of it and she was right.

Not sure how the general population of men with Asperger's syndrome is (or women, but I'd expect them to be slightly better off), but you'll find people who have never had a romantic or sexual partner a-plenty on this forum. I'm a good example of that. If the thread's title (the content varies; I'm skinny rather than pudgy, and surprisingly able to speak in public and participate in social occasions, and apparently have a solid sense of humour - but alas, that's not enough for any women so far to like me) was meant to be autobiographic, that makes two of us.

Probably not. I was 17, almost 18 with my first kiss.

But I don't like kissing. It's too weird.

I was either 19 or 20, don't remember. Same girl twice and that was the only time in my life. I am 27 now so it's been a long time. Don't know how to do it and I was horrible the first time and now with 7-8 years since and absolutely no clue what or how to, I fear I am too late in life and will be laughed at or ridiculed, that is if I ever get another chance in my lifetime, which I unfortunately just don't see.

I was nearly 20 before I was kissed. I's pretty normal.

i dont know. everytime we see the ages discussion most women in this site claim for sex, let alone kissing, to be 15-17. Most men are considerably higher but too wide a spectrum to summarize so well. id say 18-30.

but to be more on topic what do those numbers mean. They mean that ifyoure a woman and 19 and still havent done anything sorts of intimate then yes you're a bit past but not by much to make a big fuss out of it. at 30 then you're far off enough to make a big fuss. And as a guy you can mostly just brag of doing so before 18.

I don't think it's so rare at all.

I'm almost 27 already and haven't had any kind of physical contact with a woman not even a kiss, a hug or holding hands. Not even a formal flirt.

That's because the kind of women I that desire are never attracted to me in a sexual way.

I am just too unattractive to the kind of women I want because they seem to desire much healthier, much stronger and much better-looking and high-status (by high-status I mean much much wealthier than I will ever be) men than I will ever be.

My first real kiss was at 18. It's not an uncommon thing either. My girlfriend had her first kiss at 18 as well... just so happened to be with me.

Some people are just uninterested or unpopular in high school, it's not until college or later in life that they begin to have a degree of success in initiating romantic relationships. It's the same way for some NT's, they're just better at it than we are but that doesn't always mean they're successful in scoring right out of high school.

I was 15 and it was a girl I had only known for a day so mostly it depends on the situation, you could have sex at some party and it could be a completely random situation. It wouldn't matter to the girl if it was you or someone else kissing her to be honest.

I was 16 almost 17, but I have to admit I had some luck there. Nothing to geel unworthy about.

Exactly, mostly it's down to being in the right place at the right time or if you aren't in the right place at the right time, it's about creating a situation or opportunity for it to happen.

I'm an NT woman and didn't kiss anyone until I was 18 (imagine that - according to this forum I should have been beating them off with a stick from puberty onwards, since it's so easy for women and all). 19 is not all that old!

Dude, I'm 32 and I haven't kissed anyone. The first time I even started was this time last year, with someone I met on Okcupid.

Rare? I'm turning 30 next month and I've never kissed a girl. Let alone a girlfriend.
