having been through most of this situation in the past 3 years, i am willing to offer advice. Just ask. Any girl who wants the role of female advisor, please say so :P.

Anyways: Some small tips i have to start with:
Ask out indirectly: Most people with AS dont like face to face contact. Therefore, either get a mate to ask em out for you, ask them over MSN or try teh following line: if they are your freind only: "Can you give me some advice? I really like a girl who's my freind. I don't know whether or not to ask them out." If they reply "Go for it." then take their advice ;) and if they say something else (an obvious no.) then dont ask. Its usually a given to work. (advice from other AS freinds here)

Don't Chicken out: You will regret it in later life.

If they say no: Then its their problem. they missed out on the opportunity to go out with YOU. Let them stick to their sports heros, cause there are 12 men in a football team, right (not sure on american football :P) but there may be hundreds of smart, rich, powerful guys running companies :P

Actually CFL (Canadian Football League) has 12 players per team on the field during play. NFL (National Football League) uses typically 11 players per team on the field during play. Of course, this is the North American not European form of Football or what we often call 'soccer' over here. Of course between the NFL and CFL there is a variance on positions, CFL doesn't have 'tightends'. Not sure on high school rules for number of players in play on the field at one time but I'm sure its a variance of those from the professional leagues. :)

I think you're absolutely right, and I agree with your advice, but what does football have to do with it?

You just have to love a sport that has a position in it called "tight end" "Hooker" in rugby just pales in comparison......

Yeah my father used to play rugby and football (not soccer) and kept wondering why they used those names, they sounded really bad. *laughs*

I have a question. I am 16 and something I have always wondered is how would I go on a date to like the movies. The only way I can think of a date is when they drive themsleves there but I rely on my family to drive me places. It would seem akward to have my parents pick us up. Im not sure but I think Im asking how should I go about taking her out.?

I hope that makes enough sense. Sorry but I didnt sleep last night and my brain not up to par yet.

12 men in a footie team: Not all the brightest.
so out of all the hopefuls that 12/2000 average (stats from UTD site) Avg IQ 100

As opposed: Same pay grade: Computer programmer. Numbers of hopefuls, approx the same. No of sucessfuls: 50% minimum.... average IQ, 120+

Tear: My advice? Public transport. It works for me.

Yeah, if he was talking about American/Canadian football, the IQ wouldn't equal fully complete intelligence, just how much money they are overpaid. ;)

Here in the US the IQ of a pro athelete (not just football) is inversely proportional to his contract value. If the formula applies to Canadian players, it's even worse once you figure in the exchange rate. I just hope there's not a metric equivalent for IQ points.

Course it doesn't always work. Nothing works 100% of the time. But it has a higher sucess rate than any other methods i know of.
