first of all, I don't have Asperger's. I'm friends with guy who is, we have known each other for a few years. We have becoming closer, and I think we might be headed towards a relationship. I don't know how to start the conversation or how to tell if wants to be in a relationship. For guys with Asperger's, what are some ways to talk about this? How do I know if he wants to be in a relationship? How do you show affection, and how would you want someone to show you affection towards you?

I'm female, but:

Be more direct. Don't play "games".

On affection, everyone is different (regardless of AS/NT), so the best way to know is to ask.

Why don't you just ask him if he would like to date you? And after a few dates you can ask him if he'd like to kiss, hold hands, touch etc.? Every aspie guy is different but they would all appreciate a nice direct question more than hinting around.
