So two years ago I had joined "Polish Dating", got a single e-mail from a Woman for which you have to pay to view, the site offered one month or three months, I paid for the one month.
Of course the Woman didn't reply to my e-mail, I haven't been on Polish dating since.

I have just reviewed my Paypal account however and wondered who and why I have been paying £8 a month to for the past 27 months and find its Polish Dating, they offer you a month but in reality they are signing you up to a subscription.

I know its my fault for not checking my Paypal account, but Paypal doesn't e-mail you every time a deduction is made and my bank statements purely say "Paypal" which I use very often so wasn't suspicious about anything.

So dont sign up to these sites that offer you a month when they really mean forever.

Virtually all dating pay sites do this. If any site takes your credit card / paypal details, they are going to take your money one way or another. With free trials on dating sites, you have to cancel within 7 days of the next month (depending on what their small print says) or you get charged for the next month.

Since when did we need more to life than this?

Yeah, there are a lot of dating websites nowadays indeed. But a lot of fraud ones too. You should beware of them. My best friend used Mymagicbrides website for such a purpose. He met a really nice girl there, and they are really happy together. Good luck you too ;)

Cheers Roteiro,
Can I ask though, why is your Avatar the same as mine but older?, (or his cousin, they look about the same).

eHarmony makes it incredibly confusing (and difficult) to turn off auto-renew. They make it seem like turning it off means shutting down your account and they ask you three times if you are sure. On the third time, the button is so small you can very easily miss it. I did all that and still got dinged for an extra month and they refused to honor an "unusual refund request" that I made.

On my recent signup I made sure to use a card that is expiring very soon just in case. Sucks that what should be a great site uses such sleazy tactics.

Its kind of like joining a gym. They try to get you subscribed longer, because you will want to leave once you lose interest.

So is mine, I use it because I look exactly the same as him, East Europeans and Russians brought it to my attention, a Ukrainian girl at work, whenever she has visitors over, she searches me out so she can show me to her country-folk, she even calls me Nicoli
I wonder if we share the same Prussian ancestry.
I have had a man from Indian who claimed I was the spitting image of the cousin of Nicolas, George the 5th or 6th?
Why do you chose it?

That is funny, Prussia was next to Ukraine I think so maybe we are related.

glad I haven't "upgraded" yet....another cheap tactic with eHarmony that pisses me off is they indicate you can message women after a back & forth of questions/makes & breaks/etc but as soon as you try to send a message they tell you that you can't unless you pay.

I used Russian-Ukrainian dating site, and it was okay. There was live chat, webcams and so on, so you don't need to wait for the reply. You should be careful when you are faced with some sort of illegal business. I didn't find my wife there, but it was good experience in communication with beautiful girls. I think there is trial on https://www.bridge-of-love.com so u could try it. Maybe you have more luck. But real life meeting is still better then online :D

and on that mymagicbrides one they look like casting for a lingerie photoshooting session.
