The loss of a website like Aspie Affection probably had an adverse effect on the lonely hearts side of the AS/HFA community. But, there's a new dating site for us called Autistic Dating. I've had a look at it recently, and I might sign up one of these days. Any thoughts?

I went on there ages ago, and in order to be signed up the owner required you to give out your full address.

..Very creepy if you ask me.

Just checked it; you're right on that. Required fields, too. Maybe take my chances with NT women?

Maybe asking for your address is a joke to test if you'll do it or not?

If some random nobody asked for my address I'd either assume they were trying to do me harm or that they were joking. However, it's more socially correct to err on the side of the request being a joke... so nobody gets hurt.

Assume the request is a joke and treat it like one.

Go ahead, copy and paste this information into that site.

They're just having a little giggle with you. Nobody really puts their true information into the internet after all.

There's no one in my area or even my country on there. So, I probably won't sign up.

They charge money and they have fake profiles.. and the real profiles signed up for 2 days, realized the site is a load of crap, then stopped going on.

That site has existed for years. I wish it would go away. I don't think it's served any useful purpose to aspies, ever.

I don't need no aspie dating site lol.

It'd be like 100 men and 5 women. So 20 men fighting for 1 woman. Epic Battle Time!

I just got an account on PoF and OKCupid instead. I've had a little bit of success there despite having Aspergers and have met a few people. :)
