I'm interested in a girl on the spectrum

(To be clear, I'm also on the spectrum.)

There's a girl at this college club I go to for one hour once a week, and I'm sort of interested in her. So far, she seems to be comfortable around me, smiling at me a lot and occasionally even mirroring my movements.

I texted her two weeks ago asking if she would be interested in studying together outside of the club, but she hasn't responded, and I haven't seen her since.

I'm really not sure what to do, but she's really nice, and I do not want to mess this up if I haven't already. What should I do?

Maybe she thought you as a friend but not a serious friend who could go further.

I've considered that possibility, but I tried to be as friendly and casual as possible about asking her, and I've considered other possibilities as well.
