Some girl from Tinder tried to start a relationship with me. Or at least, I think she was from Tinder. How else would she have found me? How she contacted me was she hit me up on Facebook. Tinder accounts are linked to Facebook, for information's sake. She wanted to hop right into a relationship, but I wasn't as enthusiastic. I let her down easy, but she only talked to me for a day afterward, then nothing. I was kinda hoping it wouldn't go anywhere, considering she took me by surprise. I hardly knew anything about her, so it wasn't like I lost any sleep over it. I felt guilty at first, but I realized that A.) I was sweet about it, B.) she wasted her time, and C.) if I'm not picky, I'll end up in something I can't back out of. Anyone else have experiences like this?

I had an experience where a guy was calling me his girlfriend after we met once. I was hesitant also because he hadn't asked me and I wasn't comfortable because I didn't know him that well.

As long as you were sweet as you say I think you did the right thing. Rushing into a relationship can be trouble especially if she randomly contacted you out of no where

If you think she was trying to coerce you into rushing into a relationship, then you did the right thing by politely rejecting her.

This was waay to agressive; finding your facebook account from a tinder app and offering a relationship right off the bat?
Back...of...quick.
These agressive tactics are typical of scammers, adbots or foreigners wanting an easy green card, none of those you want to associate yourself with.

Letting her down easy is a nice thing to do indeed; if she was really interested in you for you, she'd have kept the conversation going for longer than that

Well, the fact that she stuck around for a short while tells me she's no scammer or robot.
