Wearing a skirt to a date

I find when I wear pencil skirts I move more like an NT. Would wearing a pencil skirt to a date make me seem too uptight?

Pencil skirts are narrow at the hem so naturally you may change stride.

I don't think there is "walking like an NT", you are walking like someone who can't move their legs wider than a certain distance.

Obviously it depends on the skirt and the degree to which it is narrowed.

I think so. I've never felt comfortable wearing overly baggy clothing. Pencil skirts also restrict the way I move and force me to not pace.

Not only suitable for the thin. Look at Joan on Mad Men. She's my younger daughters size and both them wear those. With the right foundation garments it looks great even on curvy gals.

I think the skirt is great, just make sure it's suitable for the place you're going because it's a little classier than McDonald's and a movie would require. Also some of the dates I had when I was single involves race cars, gun range, cave exploring, and rock climbing and I wasn't prepared of that, so always check first. Luckily I was single back when the uniform of the day for almost anything was jeans. :-)
