Hi,
I saw this area of the forum and I was wondering if someone can help me find a partner that's tailored to autism and not written by those bizarre PUAs (Pick Up Artists) you see online as I find their tips impossible to understand.

The areas I'm looking for advice on are the following:
1.Where to find a partner? Any reliable or trustworthy sites, apps, places, etc? I could just use Tinder but since I can't figure out how to set it up on my iPhone yet,I'm not using that.
2.How to talk to prospective partners in terms of what topics are appropriate in a conversation and which are best left out? I want to basically talk to people without putting them off and avoid relationship pitfalls.
3.Understanding and establishing consent in terms of (how should I say this?) you know,I'm really struggling to say this.
b.I'll try again, how do I know that Yes means Yes?I know this sounds stupid but I really struggle with all social matters of communication.
4.How to avoid common relationship pitfalls such as fidelity issues, conflict, and creating the best environment to prevent conflicts in the first place as I really can't cope with them well.
5.How to handle a break up without things turning nasty?
6.How to defend myself from false allegations of inappropriate behaviour, etc as I really have no time for people like that and is the key reason I completely stopped considering relationships until now.
7.How do I know that I'll find a likeminded person who'll be the perfect match, who I could marry one day?

I know that's a lot of questions for someone in my position but I really never got this kind of help in school/college or even university. How useless is the UK education system that they don't teach consent in relationships in class which would have addressed all of my points above? Anyway rant over as I have to focus on achieving my goals here. :)

Make some friends. Some of these friends might have friends or sisters who are female. This, I find, is how people usually get together.

If you're in school/university, join a club which is devoted to something you're into in. They'll be women interested in the same thing. Many barriers are broken through mutual interests.

Go to lectures pertaining to what you're interested in.

Keep your body and clothes clean.

Or join one of those online dating forums. The best might be Eharmony, though that costs money.

Or.....meet somebody here on Wrongplanet. People have gotten married through meeting someone right on this Site.
