Feeling major butterflies in stomach from crush

So I initiated a conversation on Messanger (Facebook) with a girl I haven't seen or talked to much in high school yesterday. She accepted my chat request and I let her know that we should talk some other time, she said basically "anytime" and, now I have butterflies over her. I don't know whether I should contact her back now or wait for tomorrow. This is kind of an urgent matter.

Is the butterflies entirely normal?

Yeah that's very normal. Unfortunately they can also get quite intense and debilitating.
