I met my crush about a year ago and I thought I was in lust. However, I had to move away, and eventually have come to the realization that I'll never see her again. However, I still have a crush on this girl, I am unsure on whether I'm in lust or love, and I can't figure out how to get over her already. HELP :(

(p.s. I've talked about it to my parents and even professional therapists)

I've had the same thing happen to me a few times.

The only thing you really could do is move on from this, and try to meet another person.

Or make use of your "crush" in your writing. Many writers have done this successfully throughout history.

Would it count if I form a crush on a fictional character? I mean, I don't think there's any girls available in my circumstance right now that are worth liking.

As for making use of my crush in writing, that's actually a really good idea. I could write a few songs about the whole thing and that could help.

It might become painful to crush on a fictional character 1ce the feelings get strong & you realize that you'll never be with her. I have a crush on a celeb that was lust & turned into love. I never met her yet & it was pretty painful sometimes.
