I have discovered a site called Aspergers Dating Site and was wondering if anyone has any expereince with it. I made a profile initially, but after it said that there were over 20 other female users my age on the site living in my small town I pretty much abandonned it for fear of it being fake. If it is not a good site then does anyone know of a good dating site for people with apsergers, whether or not it is actually aspergers focused. A site where I pay very little or nothing and where I can meet a religious and interesting woman.

Hi Drone :) i am currently working on a website for just that! It will be free for all, i wont be charging, just asking for donations for my time and to keep site going.. It will not just be a dating site but many things related to the spectrum.. I have already loaded the dating script and the rest is soon to follow :)

I tried that site & noticed a bunch of women in my small unheard of town so I left sense it's fake.

Guide to males going on asperger dating sites:
Step 1. Are you Heterosexual?
If you answered yes, look elsewhere. There are NO women on those sites. I went to aspie single(think thats the name) there were two women listed in my WHOLE state.

Sounds like a scam, these sites all want you to pay too. There can't be an aspergers dating site since the gender ratio is so skewed.

Most specialized dating sites are scams imo. Ones like OKC and stuff are fine (though personally I'm not a fan of dating sites, as I find dealing with people with no boundaries draining), but I swear specific stuff is always scammy and fake. There aren't as many women as men on most dating sites anyways, and after several years of experience I can see why lol. Just like anywhere else on the internet, people are wayyyy bolder and more inappropriate than they would be in person because they feel safe behind their screen, and I swear 98% of men don't read women's profiles before messaging them, then seem shocked and dismayed when things don't go anywhere. I can't imagine messaging someone without reading their profile and checking their answers to key questions lol.

What about all the female profiles that state nothing about them? Example:
I'm 4' 11" and like cakes. Anything else you want to know just ask. I know that example is silly, but there are profiles that bad, especially on plenty of fish.

That was definitely a pet peeve of mine when I used to try online dating. Of course, those women probably aren't worth talking to, but I used to think, "Why are you on here?"

Never been on POF but I thought it was that Christian dating website at first and thought "my condolences" before I remembered it wasn't a Christian dating site.

I wouldn't know about that. I'm a wordy person and my profile reflected that. I guess I wouldn't say I'd expect somehow to read the entire thing, but as someone who is really good at skimming and picking out relevant info, I'd expect that at the least. I only messaged people who said enough on their profile for me to get an idea of what they were like (tone and content factored in the most, not length usually), which in that case I mostly messaged other women. Most the women I messaged messaged me back and I had entire complex convos.

I'd say about 85% messaged back, and I probably messaged about 2 women a week and like 3-5 men, because I'm picky and most people are boring and there's usually a highee ratio of men to women. Of course that rarely went anywhere for a number of reasons, mostly that I'm awkward and better with people face to face, and that there's a stigma against bi people in the gay community. I had better luck with straight men generally, which is sad since I have less in common with them generally.
