Hi there I'm a 53 year old bipolar serviver with a 12 year old Ashburgers son and I know that's spelt wrong but it's how we like it said in our house as my son has quite the sense of humor it's how he gets by. I've been unlucky in love. I attract the wrong sorts of men or scare away the decent ones. No one wants to marry a bipolar serviver or take on an Autistic son. How would you bring it into the conversation?? :?

You should probably have at least one "full date" with a man before you start discussing your kids.

It would be great if the man has similar interests as your son.

I advise using dating websites; there you can front load the information that potential partners NEED to know before the talk with you, without having to have the awkward conversations and risk rejection. You can even be subtle about it, allowing you a chance to not front load TOO much...giving you the opportunity to get to know someone and decide for yourself it they are worth pursuing further.

Best of luck!

I don't think lonely 50-60 years old men would mind much - what's your target category?
