How to find one? I mean men who would study all day long at the library but for inevitable reason have to be at the beach. I'll bring my spyglasses.

Nerdy guys are not at the beach. They are either in a dark dungeon, or are taking cover in the shadow. :-)

Ahh, so then Drawyer can try to catch a guy that appears to be looking for ghosts on the beach? :-)

It would be most enchanting if I would spot DRAWYER on the beach.

So what? All nerds are obsessed with Star Trek and Pokémon? Oh good, I can go and tell all the people who teased me about being a nerd back in highschool that I am, in fact, not.

not all, but some are. and it's pokemon-hunting season. geeks are out of their dwellings for a limited period only

it's a silly question anyway. any on-topic answer will be silly. because, well, first of all: define "geek"

edit: oh the word she used is actually "nerd", not "geek". not that it makes any difference...

Well it depends on what OP is looking for. Trendy as*holes that like to think they're really clever by being "nerdy" are probably in no shortage on the beach. Real nerds probably aren't at the beach, because they have lots of social anxiety and body-image troubles stemming from lifelong mockery for being different.

If you really want to find a nerd, don't look on the beaches, go to a University, study maths, physics, engineering, that sort of stuff, or any other hard science really, and find the quietest person in the class who seems to be focusing intently on the subject matter - there's your nerd.

yep

the obvious answer to the question "how do you find nerds on the beach" is "you don't"

and if you want to find someone posing as nerdy... just look for someone posing as nerdy. shouldn't be hard to spot

I spend hours of my spare time developing and coding android games just for the fun of it, and yet I go to the beach sometimes on weekends.

So what am I?

exactly

if the op wants to find a stereotype, just look for a stereotype, and look for it in the stereotypical place where you would expect them to be

now if she wants to find a real person with one particular feature or another, she'll have to be more specific
