I think it is great if you can experience it and if it is reciprocated by the other person.

I thought I loved someone once but it was like an illness, like my OCD and I felt like I was going crazy - seriously - I felt like I couldn't control my mind anymore.
And the object of my affections was treating me really badly which didn't help.

Other than this, I simply don't love. I don't and never have loved anyone in my family and I don't love my boyfriend even though he is great and he says he loves me.

I feel bad as I must be some really awful and cold and emotionally inadequate person, but I can't pretend that I have feelings that I don't have - that would just be dishonest.

I don't really love people at all. In fact I seem to care more for inanimate objects than people.

You can learn a lot from love if you are not too bitter and closed off to experience it, both in giving and receiving.

I love love when it's actually mutual.

yes...
I have never been loved by a woman
(well my mom but that don't count)
so I don't know how it feels to be in love

I know how it feels to be in love, with me currently feeling truly that way with my current partner who has made me so happy and so in love and never once broke my heart

In other words, love is real

I've never been in love with another human being. I'm very much in love with music, though. I would sacrifice my life for music.

Love is what makes life bearable
for a while. It doesn't have to be
for a person though.

I don't consider that music.

I'd like to vote for none of the above.

Love is why I’m here; too bad that’s exactly what love “isn’t” to me.

Does that mean I shouldn’t exist?

Me too. I voted for 1.

Also, it's not that I don't want to love someone romantically, I'm just too angry and mistrustful to ever be able to do so.

Love isn't a requirement to have sex with someone.

Who said I was speaking of human reproduction? I was speaking of the reflections that we emit…or, perhaps I wasn’t.

Every time I've even attempted to indulge the emotions I believe are collectively described as "love", it's resulted in nothing but self-recrimination and anger. These are not fun feelings.

I'm better off alone, I really am.
