Or rather, searching for a date on an international site, but looking for people nearby only. Whatever.

I'm seeing a handful of cool profiles, and I think they're getting lots of dates.

All these cool profiles really stand out, but how do I know that the non-cool ones, are actually really interesting people, who like me, find it really hard to compose a decent profile unless they spend hours at it?

Can't there be another way to this? I'm only able to discuss details via PM, cos there are people IRL who know me on here, who I don't want to see me on a dating site.

Or should I just stop being lazy now having just answered my own question?

That said, I did tend to not pay attention to those who hadn't said much in their profile, presuming (possibly unfairly, I grant) this was because they had nothing to say.

I mean, I spent many, many hours on my profile. Hours and hours at first, and then a pretty constant refinement over months of useage. If you think I could be of help, feel free to PM me.
