Our first crush is one of the most poignant moments in our lives. And it is as significant as your first car, your first boyfriend and your first child. It's the day you found an interest in the opposite sex, the day that you stopped caring about toys and started caring what you looked like.

 My First Crush:

I met my first crush at a wedding (I was in VII standard that time), we spent 4 days together there. That time, I didn't know what is crush and all, but we spent quite a time with each other in those 4 days. In this question share your experience, I will share mine, after some answers, I promise. No need to add personal information, you can say, I met Mr. X in California etc.

My first crush was Velma from Scooby Doo or Detective Olivia Benson from Law and Order SVU.

My first real crush was a boy in my class in kindergarten.

The first one I remember was on a TV actress. Stephanie Powers in 'The Girl from Uncle'. I think I was 9 or 10 and watching the show gave me almost a physical pain of longing. Fortunately it only lasted one season or I might have died from it.

Here she is with her version of a Sonic Screwdriver.

Had a crush on a girl in elementary school, but I didn't understand what I was feeling at the time because I didn't know about homosexuality.

When I was twelve, I had a crush on a girl in my class. That was the first crush I actually realized. Still haven't gotten over her... >.<

You're in the Bronx, yet it sounds like you went to a British school LOL

I'm in Queens. I'm in Queens Village, near Springfield Blvd. What part of the Bronx? Don't worry...I'm not looking to get "exact" on you LOL

I lived at 170th and Nelson until I was 3 years old.

My first real "crush" was when I was 13, in 8th Grade. I had a crush on my English teacher. I felt the "stirrings of the mind" for the first time. It wasn't exactly sexual yet--but it was romantic.

I had sort of a crush on a girl when I was 9, and she was 8. We kissed on the swings. She told me, "Love means never having to say you're sorry." I believed that for years.

When I was 15, I had a sort of "West Side Story" sort of romance. She pulled me into the vestibule of her building, and taught me how to French. I had a terrific crush after that; I think she liked me, too. Her father, though, didn't want her to date a white guy.

It’d be a real feat for me to forget my first crush, because I can count the crushes I’ve ever had on the fingers of one hand, with half to spare.

EDIT – Well, if you can call your feelings about someone you got to know online and never met in real life a crush, I guess I only have one finger to spare :o Anyway, it only helped further drive home the lesson that I have no business trying to satisfy crushes, so I might as well not have them in the first place.

It was on this boy at nursery school. He was scared of playing on the slide and I tried to get him to play on it, and he shook his head smiling shyly and said, "Noooo".

The second one was when I was at infants school, this blonde boy used to chase the girls and kiss them, including me. I remember him chasing me, and I was laughing and running away screaming, "Help!" then he would walk away, then I would walk close enough for him to chase me again, and it kept repeating.

Wow! I had to think about this one! Yup. I do remember mine. It was a boy in elementary school, in my class and his name was Jeremy. We had a visual aids teacher that taught us all, so we all had one classroom, with one teacher who taught us different stuff primarily, throughout the day, and he was my first "boyfriend" and we had sleep overs, but when my Mom found out I stayed in his room, even though it was on his floor, I wasn't allowed to be around him anymore. It caused a huge scandle in our class. This was back in the 80's. We didn't understand why, and we didn't see anything wrong with it, at that time. To us, it was all innocent. LOL. There was no tingling down below yet, as Kraftie would put it

My first crush was in first grade, ridiculous I know.

Years later, he was mentioned in the newspaper. Apparently, he was able to graduate early or something? Because of his high intelligence.

Not ridiculous!

I was five years old when I had my first crush----on a teenage girl who was babysitting me.
