Hello sweeties

This is a thread for people here that would describe themselves as such when connecting with others in love, dating or friendship situations.

Are you playful, tender, caring and kind?

Please share

That's my goal: for people to consider me all four of those things.

Anything else is sort of gravy.

I do know that I am quite Wolftie at times

I like to imagine I'd be that way, but, since I have zero experience with those situations, I can't claim I am.

On the other hand, what little experience I have about human interaction suggests being playful, tender, caring and kind is an excellent way to set yourself up for abuse by others, at least if you're male and not strong or skilled enough to defend yourself.

Fits me perfectly, though add adventurous to the mix.

I'm really half and half.

I have a very strong nurturing comforting side of me. I desire to help, not only my woman, but anyone, particularly with their emotions. My ex wife was extremely volatile emotionally with some very deep lows. And I always tried to take the time to talk her through it, offer comfort and really let her know she had someone in her corner always. I accept people fault and all. When I love someone they are the center of my universe. In the realm of emotional support, loyalty, and the like I am. In other areas I am not at all.

I am also short tempered (though seldomly toward by women specifically) and can get quite angry and hateful when that part of me comes out. I am fairly cold to strangers and people outside of my circle. I'm not really the type to give homeless people money, or do charitable things, as quite frankly I dont care about other people I don't know enough to.

So for me it depends on who you are to me. Which to some means the answer to this question is "No". As I've found out.

I like to think I'm all of the above.

Playful = for sure, it's one of my most obvious traits. I'm usually the person in any room cracking jokes, trying to make people (and myself) laugh. My morbid sense of humor often shines through in it, though, and also occasionally I can be a bit childish when doing it. People who also can be are usually my ideal partners.

Tender = very. It often doesn't shine through immediately, and if I'm not paying attention to my body language it gets hidden behind a stand-offish/"resting bitchface" mask. But inside, I'm a pretty emotional person. It comes out with people I know and trust well, or when I'm alone and just listening to/playing music.

Caring = very. I sympathize with people very easily and try to lift them up or help them with whatever's going on if they seem pretty hurt by something. Especially if it's something I can relate to.

Kind = I try to be. I can be pretty snarky, which I wouldn't change. But I'm sarcastic when the situation seems to call for it. Otherwise, I make an effort to treat the people around me well.

Playful, absolutely ! Even a bit too much for some apparently  Once people manage to make me give up my initial shyness I'm a real goofball.
Tender, caring and kind... It's all on the inside, but I'm far too socially awkward and clumsy to show the soft side. And I was raised somewhat military style, with the poisonous idea that emotions are shameful and private (and I naturally was taught the same about sexuality as well). It's very hard to get rid of that kind of toxic upbringing. I'm more the kind of person who initially looks aloof, or who diverts deep conversations with jokes, but who takes part in charity, and other similar things.

Yeh, I'm sort of like that. I'm very loyal, and accept faults and all (to a degree, if I think they're messing me around and being careless about it then I go cold).

Yep all of those, and also flirtatious (best word I could think of than the other words that would belong in the adult autism discussion) when I need to be. It's all dependent on mood and situation.

Hugs for Sly

I find it fascinating that different people have different opinions and definitions of the 4 terms

I hope to get into it in more depth later.

To the people that deserve it, i try my best to be all 4 indeed.
I give anyone i meet enough credit to at least earb "kind", and they can work up from there.

However, i do have my demons, and if someone sets then off, i can be quite the opposite (and worse), which is hard to recover from (for me as well, i dont like to be unkind to others, so it puts me off-rythm for a while if i get put in that state)

I'm also quite naive with people and somethings.

Perhaps why I don't find naive women unattractive like others do
