Okie, what I'm about to say might sell me out as being a huge coward, but I feel like I'm okay with just being friends with girls. Like, I'm attracted to girls, but I honestly think I'm the ugliest god damn 21 year old you've ever seen, and the fact that no woman under the age of 35 has been attracted to me is definitely a factor to this. This is problematic, seeing as I'm not attracted to older women and prefer cuter, more artsy girls around my age. Maybe this is because I'm a coward?
I don't know, I think I tend to treasure girl friendships more than friendships with other guys because I have tended to make better friends with girls, whereas most guys I know tend to be arrogant at best and misogynistic as*holes at worst. This is getting more problematic as I grow older because I've only had one girlfriend, and I've been single for almost 8 years. I'm pretty much completely behind on the dating game and don't know where to begin. Am I trapped because I actually enjoy being friends with girls?
