Hey, I have a couple girls in mind who I would like to invite to hang out with. Now my situation isn't that independent right now, and no girl as far as I know wants a guy who still depends on his folks.

But my counselor somehow tells me that I still have chances. I know it's true that I had a relationship before.

So is it still worth asking these girls to hang out places with them?

Sure. Why not ask them?

But don't bug them if they say "no."

If you're able to handle a "no thanks", or the fact that they may only end up seeing you as a friend anyway, sure.

It's in how you present the information; living at home is okay if you are saving up to get your own place or trying to get a job. Or, who knows, maybe one of the women will really like your parents.
