This place seems more depressing than usual. I suggest some light-hearted self aware humor. In this thread, we post warnings to future NT lovers, or warnings we should have given those in our past. I'll start.

Warning, I won't remember some of the things you want me to remember about you, but I will know some things about you that you never mentioned.

Warning, if you talk to me when I'm focused on solving a problem, I won't have heard you, no matter how I reply.

Warning: I'm sometimes struck with a wanderlust and will drive hundreds of miles to a seemingly random place for similarly vague reasons. There never seems to be exactly what I thought I would find there, but if you go with me, you could help.

Warning: I do not, have not, and likely never will know the answer to this query: "Why?". I implore you to provide more information in between the word and the punctuation. Please?

Warning: I live in my own world inside my head and often completely tune out everything going on around me. If you want to tell me something, you must first call my name and get my complete attention before starting to talk.

Kraftie: Definitely. I learned swiftly to plan for these occurances. I've got a stash hidden in a book just for this kind of thing.

Warning: the less attentive I appear while you're talking, the more interested I am in what it is you're talking about.

Hmmm. Different manifestations of the same fundamental structure brought about by different experiences at an impressionable age? You've given me much to ponder. Thank you. Also, sorry if I seem weird, everyone, but I'm still giddy from the realization that there exist others that think and feel in a similar fashion as I.
