I am looking for women who would probably find me physically attractive and I notice that in general, I have decent looks but what stands out is my body hair. I am a man-bear, and I read that around 15% of women out there dig hairy guys.

I plan on trimming my body hair somewhat but I've read laser hair removal is painful and I'm not keen on doing that. I have sensitivity to pain and don't have much tolerance for it. Hence I want to find women to date who would think that's attractive. What are some ways, online at least, where I could find and reach out to those ladies who are into hairy guys? I know this sounds weird but I think this would be a great idea for me to bypass the traditional societal stigma against hairy guys.

I didn't know that there was such a thing?... I mean a stigma against hairy men? I thought men were suppose to be hairy? Did something happen to cause a huge weird shift and I didn't get the memo? Okay, yes, I'm being sarcastic, but at the same time serious too. Personally, I find it unattractive, when men have no hair on their body. I thought women were suppose to be the smooth ones, and men were suppose to be the hairy ones? I almost went apoplectic when mine offered to shave his hair, because he thought he had too much. So, if I like it, surely there are others out there who do also.

It can make people feel bad when you say things like "Men should be hairy." Women should be hairless."

Some men have less body hair, some have more. This person is looking specifically for women who like men who have body hair, which not all women do. And if just 15% prefer hairy men, then that says there is a large portion who do not, or at least don't state it as a preference. Especially these days (and for at least 10-15 years), in urban areas particularly with the metrosexual trend.

Nothing wrong with men who consider various aspects of their appearance. Or people who choose not to remove hair. No one should be made to feel abnormal or unappealing because of how they are born, or choose to be.

I would not like a guy who shaves more than me. Guys who shave all of their hair really make me wonder... Unless they are professional swimmers - just being honest.

If you read my post, I never said "should"
I said, "I thought" which implies opinion. I am stating my opinion as to what I think. This isn't a debate, but a comment to help the original poster, and it wasn't intended to offend anyone.

Nothing wrong with having preferences. It's just when someone uses language that makes it sound like it is wrong for someone to be something else. Although your language is pushing that boundary, or even crossing it.

Be respectful of your preferences and accept that not everyone is like you.

How much of a difference is there between saying they are supposed to be a certain way, or should be a certain way?

People can do whatever they want, I'm just saying I wouldn't want to go out with them. That's all. I don't care about boundaries and being "politically correct". The OP either wants to hear the truth, from my point of view, or don't ask the question. Period.

AND another thing, I find it interesting that you are attacking all of the women commenting. Just why is that? Do you think your opinion matters more?

The answer is NO (just in case you were wondering).

Yes there's a shift; the younger the OP the less will find women around his age prefering hairy.

Just look at movies nowadays. A guy takes off his shirt, and his chest, arms, and back are as bald as Mr. Clean's head. Hair on the head, maybe hair on the face, but nothing below that. Bad news for guys like you and me, who have hair literally everywhere.

If it bothers you that much, get an epilator.

The hair on my head is blonde. The hair everywhere else is, inexplicably either black or really dark brown.

Too late. Also, words hurt. You don't hear me calling you an ugly Face in a Jar, do you?
