Books Which Explain Attraction/Social Dynamics
I recently got the book Fundamentals of Female Dynamics by Michael Knight off Amazon, which explains to logically minded men how attraction really works. It opened by eyes to what my different behaviors are actually communicating. I really liked this book and want to read more like it.
Do you guys know of any similar books which explain social dynamics and dating?
I don't really read PUA books. Most books I find in stores, even those written for men, are still censored to cater to women's special interest groups. Most are also very relationship-centric too. Or they're solely about sex techniques, rather than how to obtain sex in the first place. I actually own such a PUA book: "How to Succeed with Women". It's better than the inane "be yourself" advice, but it still teaches unhelpful methods, like bringing flowers to a coffee date. Not to mention, it was copyrighted in 1998, so it still talks about outdated things like buying women drinks in bars or checking your answering machine.
I prefer use to various PUA websites, rather than books. One of my favorites is the Red Pill. It doesn't really talk about how to pick up women, but it explains why they gravitate to specific types of men. It goes without saying that you should learn to emulate those types. While the Red Pill site doesn't teach you how to do that, other websites, like So Suave or Simple Pickup can fill that role.
Then there's the increasingly popular MGTOW (men going their own way). While it won't teach you how to meet women, obviously, it's good for reading cautionary tales.
_The Rational Male_ by "Rollo Tomassi" really opened my eyes--and I am a woman! He writes from the perspective of evolutionary psychology, not PUA (although he is aware of PUA.) He had other volumes as ebooks and also runs a blog called The Rational Male.

I'd think a lot of these sorts of advice websites and books would have some amount of margin of error, like I feel like they will pick a particular category of women and give you 'techniques' on how to attract them...so if one relies on it like the bible or something they could miss out on women outside the group the advice is meant to attract. I mean I feel like its about the sort of women who are very much in on popular culture and norms. So I feel like you have to be looking for that sort of women for any PUA stuff to really work...I get the impression much of it would be lost on someone like me who's never been very prone to social norms. Granted I get the impression a lot guys who are into PUA stuff aren't looking for weird girls into nerdy stuff who have an aversion to dressing femininely.

I'm not really into PUA, and find Red Pill people to have a chip on their shoulder and hold a general negativity against women.
I'm looking more for books like Fundamentals of Female Dynamics, which is about understanding social dynamics in general and better understanding yourself and what your actions and words are actually communicating.
You cannot understand yourself by learning social dynamics of NTs. You should first understand yourself, and only after that, should you study the social dynamics of NTs.

I disagree. The behaviors I show will be interpreted by NTs the same, regardless if they are coming from me or someone else. So having a logical understanding of what I am likely communicating to compensate for not having an emotional feel for it has helped me a lot.

Of course, but it is not usable for relationships. You don't want to communicate with a gf by using logical interpretations of NT social dynamics. You want to communicate with her using emotions. Which means that you need to select a gf that you can communicate emotionally with without having to resort to logic.
It's my impression that a lot of these guys have no idea what they are doing or why they fail with women. A considerable amount of them probably are NDs that have failed with NTs, and now they try to copy successful NT guys, which most likely will make them fail again. After all, an NT that have this naturally don't need to study PUA to have success with women.
The worse thing is that PUA probably only works on NTs, and most NTs don't need these kinds of services anyway.
MGTOW and MRA are related to Red Pill, but are actually rival movements, and there's quite a bit of infighting between all three. There's been some attempts to unite them as a single front, but success was limited, due to the diverging focuses.
Just because the Red Pill ideological paradigm gives you a logical understanding of attraction that is more accurate than the mainstream Hollywood social narrative, does not mean that its the best philosophy. I'm sure some ideas have some merit, but when you paint the entire world in some Machiavellian Man vs. Women conspiracy, its only going to harm your results in the end. As the book Fundamentals of Female Dynamics explains, you attract what you are in life, and look for evidence which reinforces your belief systems. So if you categorize all women as the Red Pill ideology portrays them as being, you will only bring into your life those type of women that reinforce your beliefs. Which are also not the type of women that you want to be involved with for any type of long term relationship. So the relationships will fail, and only serve as a negative feedback loop which reconfirms a flawed cognitive bias.
The Red Pill may not be perfect---partially because it doesn't recognize the notion of men and women being real friends, as opposed to the friend zone---but it's better than the Hollywood lie (a.k.a. the Blue Pill) our government keeps shoving down people's throats. And your argument that I'll attract the bad type of women doesn't hold water. Like I said, according to the Red Pill, there is no such thing as "type"; their mindset is that AWALT---all women are like that, at least in relationships. (It's an oversimplification that I don't even fully agree with, but it's better than nothing.) Since it'll take me a few decades to properly learn PUA---and by then, I'll be a washed-up old man---I'm choosing MGTOW instead.
That said, I already have single women in my life that don't fall into the Red Pill description. But only as friends! They respect me because I worked hard to garner their respect. Making them feel sexually attracted to me is exponentially harder. Plus, if I start a relationship with one of them, crap like getting married and having babies will enter the equation, and I want no part of it.
