Again with a 28 yo non-local woman, she's of a Asian and European heritage (Chinese/S-Korean/Filipina/Spanish).

She speaks SEVEN languages and works here for a known news agency, and been in different trades; and into geeky interests animes and anime-based games and a hobbyist artist. This person exists!

I think she was physically comfortable with me, like literally 'gluing' herself to me while walking and touching me.

but she's moving to Turkey in 2018.

Shoot me.

It's destined to be a short term at best.

But I am kinda of tired of these short terms with a definite 'expiry date' every time , I wanna experience a real relationship with no predefined ending. I am sure it's not the same thing at all.

I do travel to turkey at times, but it's not frequent enough to maintain a relationship.

I think it's time to jetset more often then. I know I will should the need arise. No big deal about travel expenses & hastles if you have sufficient reason to go.

She has a history of breaking up with exes before she moves to next country - I don't think i will be an exception.

She was married to Japanese man before for two years in Tokyo too and got divorced.

Relationship experience wise, i am probably not compatible; i am way behind.

^ One thing is bothering me though....I feel I am being the chaser one in this.

In the past, it never works like this for me- it never led to anything when I am the chaser.

What always worked for me is when I am the chasee (at least for short terms).

Oh well, I still have a fwb.

I feel your pain on this but chase > no chase. Reminding myself of that is a chore but then I realize it's probably the whole reason I was doing anything in the first place.

I disagree, no chase > chase.

I prefer to be the chased one.

She initiated texting.

That's it! That's the move that I was waiting for!

Maybe you can talk over the cyclical nature of all those relationships & figure something more out.

Hmm, no, no.... I don't want this woman anymore. At least, I don't see any long term potential with her anymore.

After two very long dates, she sounded too perfect on paper, even too egalitarian and insisted on splitting the pay and so. How naive I was on this. The third meetup was horrible in my pov.

She literally texted me today "Anyway..tonight I'll meet a friend who wants to learn stock market" "In exchange he will invite me for free dinner".

Like seriously....! As If I am too stupid to understand the guys' intentions behind such deals, this is a so old tactic; and I am sure she is not obvious about it either.

And during the third meetup she told me of this weird guy (and his weird texts) she had a sexual encounter with a year ago and yet is still texting her- and even said he has a six packs are, like who in the right mind tells a date something like that?

As if she keeps giving hints on how desirable she is and how many options she has.

How can't I be cynical over that?

I get you Boo. The humble bragging would make me lose interest really fast too.

Cyclical not cynical. As in moving in cycles. Recurrent patterns of dating life.

What do you mean by that? That I am the common denominator in that?

I think that would be the online dates in close succession, you're just you; it's a pattern among other people.
