Regardless of how mean this comment was can you give me your honest opinions on what was meant by this.

In school when I was a teenager in regards to my difficulties getting a girlfriend my brother said "I think me and my friends could only hook you up with a deformed girl"


By that comment what was he implying towards me personally?

Would you care if someone you loved had a deformity?

I did say I wanted a straightforward opinion (no beating around the bush) to my question which was 'what did he mean by his comment in regards to me personally'

He was being a dick to you.

He was making out that you are so damaged that only a deformed girl would love you because she could not attract a real man.

That direct enough?

Brothers say things like that.
It's straight out sibling rivalry.
He's trying to put you down by suggesting there's something wrong with you so he climbs up a rung in his own esteem.

What do you mean by 'damaged' exactley?

You break easy, you can be got at.

You can't compete, won't compete, you know you will fail.

What woman would want you?

You can't even hold down a job.

Like what a couple users had said. Your brother was being a jerk. He was basically saying that only deformed women will love you because your a not normal and weird man. But that's not true. Any girl will love you if they think if your a nice and friendly man.

Your brother seems like he's stuck in an adolescent fog.

My brother is sort of similar.

Just ignore what he says.

Just sounds like a mean joke. He is saying because you have a hard time getting a girlfriend that only desperate deformed people would go out with you.

This is just what brothers do. They were teasing you. All brothers are like this to younger siblings.

Is this a parody account?

If so, it's a very long joke. He's been posting stuff like this for most of a decade.

Since no one else has pointed it out, I'll mention that people with disabilities of all sorts still have standards, and this brother rudely assumes they will be lower in the case of someone with a physical disability.

I mean, I doubt that he meant to imply that a person with a disability might have more tolerance for another person's disability. That also indicates an irrational prejudice, in any case, and probably has only a tenuous connection with reality.

Never underestimate the lengths people will go to if they think they are amusing an audience.

There was a 2 chan sock puppet who posed as a hopeless otaku for up to 2 years chasing after a girl as multiple people to make their fictional story of a loser more real and amusing to its audience. They mot likely got off to the idea in a way I can't describe outside of the Adult board.

Case study: There have been people caught red handed making fictional aspie accounts on wrong planet to amuse other forums on a long term basis and justly removed from the boards.
